Creating Podcasts for the Dissemination of Research Results
As part of the pioneering research entitled “Hate speech against journalists”, the Mindspark+ took responsibility for the creation and production of podcasts, with the aim of presenting the results of the research to the general public in an understandable and accessible way. The research, conducted by leading academics and media institutions, includes the Peace Journalism Laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Novi Sad, the University of Hassan Prishtina, the BLINK 42-21 Social Innovation Centre and Blue Link, with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom – Greece and Cyprus. It highlights the challenges journalists face in the face of hate speech in South-Eastern Europe. Mindspark+ leveraged its expertise in digital communications to convey the research findings through a series of podcasts designed with a focus on clarity, quality and broad accessibility. By producing the podcasts, we ensured:- Simplification of complex data: Presenting the key findings of the research in a way that is understandable, even for a non-specialist audience.
- Accessibility: Making content available on podcast platforms to reach listeners across the region and beyond.
- Promoting public dialogue: Encouraging the debate on security and press freedom by raising awareness of hate speech.
