Lifelong Learning is a continuous process that evolves step-by-step. Based on this principle, Mindspark+ took the next step and—leveraging the legacy of the European Erasmus+ program “Mind the Gap: Building Mental Health Awareness in Youth Work”, which took place last November at its venue—gave participating Youth Workers the opportunity to delve deeper into Mental Health and Well-being, both their own and that of their colleagues.
Through a new, interactive, non-formal learning workshop designed by the participants of “Mind the Gap” themselves, the gap between theory and practice was bridged once again, giving attendees the chance to explore the amazing techniques of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
NLP is a set of personal development tools and techniques that studies the relationship between neurological processes, language, and behaviour. It was created to help people change thought patterns in order to improve their communication and achieve their goals.
Upon completion of the “Mind the Gap” workshop, the participating Youth Workers left equipped with valuable tools to assist them in interpersonal relationships, particularly in their work.
