    He is a documentary and fiction filmmaker. He lives in Athens. His films have received awards, participated in festivals abroad, have been broadcasted by foreign and Greek TV networks, included in international tributes and used as educational material in universities.

    He has been particularly involved in documentaries of personal narratives on the subjects of History, Ethnography, Social Anthropology and Industrial Archaeology.

    From 2014 to 2019, he has toured extensively with screenings of his films at universities in the US and Canada. Among the 32 institutions from which he was invited are Harvard, Columbia, Yale, Stanford, Princeton, Princeton, Michigan, UCLA, Duke, University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College.

    He teaches Cinema at the Hellenic Open University (Hellenic Open University) and conducts seminars/workshops on Cinema (in person and at a distance) in cities in Greece and abroad, on topics such as: The art of oral storytelling, Making documentaries with oral histories, Documentary as a tool in Education, From personal testimony to the big story.
