The Dig it Up! initiative in Alexandroupolis has come to an end. DigitUp is an innovative initiative of the European Erasmus+ program, which was hosted at the Mindspark+ multipurpose venue from August 24 to 30, 2025. The project, in which trainees participated both in person and online, brought together partners from Greece, Norway, Belgium, and Bulgaria, strengthening intercultural cooperation and the exchange of know-how.
The aim of “Dig it Up!” is to develop digital skills through experiential learning and innovative training methods. Participants gained the necessary knowledge and confidence to design and implement modern non-formal education programs for young people, actively contributing to the digital transformation of work and education in Europe.
Mindspark+’s contribution is decisive, as by hosting and coordinating the program, it strengthens Alexandroupolis’ position on the European map of education and innovation. Through such actions, the city is emerging as a hub for digital training and education for young people and professionals, creating new prospects for growth and extroversion for the local community.
The program is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, through the National Coordination Unit INEDIVIM, and is implemented in collaboration with organizations from the four participating countries.
More material and photos from the action will soon be available on the Digit Up program website.
